Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, managed and run by the Sri Sankara Education Society under the aegis of Swamigal Sri Kanchi Kamakotti Peetham, is situated in the heart of Bhilai township in Sector X. It was founded in 1987 by His Holiness Jagadguru Sankaracharya Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal of Kanchipuram. Spread over 196,500 sq. meters, the school radiates a warm ambience conducive to stress-free learning. Of this area, 65,146 sq. meters is dedicated to classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities, while 1,989 sq. meters is allocated to the playground. The school has been affiliated with CBSE, Delhi since 1992.
